ABOUT
I just achieved the "altitude" of 75 years (as if climbing a mountain). My wife died of leukemia in 1997. I retired soon afterward and traveled in Asia for much of the next ten years (especially in China and India).
My favorite activities are cooking vegetable dinners, woodworking (fine furniture), traveling outside the U.S., hiking and camping (especially in Washington's Cascades), and reading (novels and poetry, when time permits). I have a comfortable income and am in good health. I've enjoyed living in Ashland since 2011 (after living 20 years in Seattle and Bellevue). I don't smoke, but often have a glass of brandy in the evening. I'm intelligent and very caring toward others in my life.
What I am looking for
