I was tempted to start this bio with words like "I'm an eager self-starter who's passionate about life and writing and..." etc. Those words are true, but I've introduced myself like that on too many resumes last year. So let me begin with something I'd never put on a resume: my wildest ambition.
I want collaborative writing to become a regular "thing." When people get together, ideas on what to do would include "Let's watch Netflix" or "Let's shoot hoops." I want "Let's write a story together!" to be just as normal a suggestion. My regular exercise walks, my freelance writing work, my constant desire to keep learning... that's all in service of this one goal. To make writing less of a chore for writers, and to have the experience itself be rewarding.
My best jokes happen when I didn't mean to tell one. I'm spontaneous, but only once I've organized everything else. I can cook.
What I am looking for
A reader, a cheerful soul, someone I can talk to for hours and someone who won't mind if I need a little space afterwards.
